Welcome, welcome. This site is dedicated to making life more enjoyable and raising the quality of life. I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, and I’d like to share my experiences here. Some are spiritual; some are just for fun; some are motivational. I’m also a fiction author, and so there’ll be links to my works of fiction–because, hey, there are few things more enjoyable than a good book. I invite you to look around, comment, and enjoy yourself. 🙂 Paul A little about me When I was a kid, I had a ton of awesome, spiritual experiences that a lot of people couldn’t really explain. I was a good kid growing up, but when I was a teenager, I felt pretty lost. I realize that that’s pretty common. But I didn’t feel common. Do you? I think deep down most people, if not all people, feel unique and that they have something to offer. I know I feel that way, and I hope that what I have to offer is of value to you. After I read Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series I felt found. His book Faith of the Fallen literally changed my life and made me realize how good life can actually be–how good life is meant to be. As I mentioned above, I love to write fiction. A part of that love has always been with me as far as I can remember. But it was another one of those things that I had put by the wayside for several years. Haha, in fact, I wrote my first book in the third grade, which was heavily based on a computer game I’d loved to play at the time. But Goodkind’s work helped me remember my love for fiction writing, and I picked up the pen once more and began writing in earnest. But you see, I’m not one of those people who is passionate about just one thing. I love sculpting and painting and just creating. It’s been one of my dreams, as well as one of my wife’s, for the two of us to be able to work with each other and see each other a bunch. When both of us were young, both of our fathers were gone–a lot. I didn’t know my dad until I was about ten (he’d be gone for several months at a time then home for a week, maybe two, then off again). I’m the youngest of seven. My poor mom. Try and imagine what it was like for her! And my wife’s dad was only home on the weekends. Now don’t get me wrong, my dad’s a great guy, but I just didn’t want that for my kids. We didn’t want that for our kids. What we did want is to be with each other as a family and build a life that we wanted to live. So after a bunch of crazy experiences from total paradigm shifts to nearly losing two of our children to nearly dying myself, which you can read about here, we decided to actually build the life we wanted to live. It started out with my wife starting a Shopify store. And then we learned about search engine optimization and how beneficial and powerful it is for people and their companies to get found. We invested just about every last scrap of money we had into a year-long course to learn search engine optimization from some of the best people in the world, and we’ve been able to help dozens of businesses get found because of that. And I’ll tell you what, being able to help other people live their dream while building your own, is an awesome feeling. Our SEO company is Search Spartan.
